With over fifteen years' experience working as a freelance musician, I provide a variety of music services and deliver them with insight, expertise and a fully-tailored approach to the specific needs of clients and students.  From my teaching room in Gateshead (NE8)

I offer one-to-one tuition, at all levels and across all genres, in:

• Singing

• Composition

• Music Theory

As a pianist I have extensive concert experience as both soloist and accompanist - the latter combined with my vocal work makes me a very effective répétiteur, choir leader and music leader. In both my piano and vocal work I am able to deliver a broad and well-informed offering, but of course there are specific interests and specialisms relevant to my own personal interests, which may be of special interest to advanced students:

I have been composing both acoustic and electronic music for many years, and projects have included soundscapes for installations at Enchanted Parks (Gateshead) and The Freedom Festival (Hull), original music for fashion shows, songs for theatre productions, and a substantial body of music for solo piano.
